Foursquare Life Church

Pastor Scott & Kyle Jungers

Pastor Scott
Like my wife, I grew up a PK. While my wife’s father was a Pastor, my dad was a plumber. Lots of similarities there that I will let you draw for yourselves. There is nothing I love more than the Word of God. It has set me free from the grip of sin and continues to be an abundant source of life. My favorite hobby would definitely be my family. Especially marriage. It has been so much fun working to make a great marriage. God has truly blessed this Northerner with a sweet Southern lady.

The city of Richmond is my home and I love it. Really, really love it. God has planted in my heart a desire to see this city be a place where marriages are strong, families healthy and people know that the Lord is God.

Pastor Kyle:
Began my walk with Jesus when I was 12 and have been serving Him ever since.
Met the man of my dreams in 1990 and married him 2 years and 3 days later!
After a fun 4 years at Bible College, we were blessed with 4 amazing kids in 5 years and the fun still continues!!

Now our kids are 15, 14, 12, and 10, attending public schools and being world changers. We love being apart of the community and are excited to be a light where God has placed us.

Pastor Bob & Vicki Smith

In 1990, we started Foursquare Family Life Center, today known as Foursquare Life Church. We started meeting in Laurel Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoons and have had many moves since then. God has always been faithful to bring dedicated people into our congregation who are hungry for the Word of God. We are so thankful for those who did not mind the many moves and have dedicated themselves to seeing FLC grow and are still here today.

In 2001, we were led to turn FLC over to our son-in-law and daughter, Scott and Kyle Jungers, and have been assisting them as Executive Pastors since that time. This transition has allowed us the freedom to minister here in the states, as well as Nicaragua and the Bahamas on a regular basis. Our ministry consists of teaching families the ‘Power of the Blessing’ and the fullness of walking in the blessings the Lord has for us.

Our greatest joy in life are our 3 children, Barbie, Kyle and Bobby (and their spouses, David, Scott and Alison) and our nine GRANDchildren * Nathan, Abby (Johnson), Stewart, Corban, Owen, Parker (Jungers), IV, Emma and Clayton (Smith), who all serve the Lord and work in the ministry.

Pastor Shane & Wendy Goins

We absolutely have a love and passion for children! It is our desire to see children fall head over heels in love with Jesus and realize that they can be useful for the Kingdom of God…NOW!
We have been serving at FLC for 20 years. During those 20 years we have had the privilege of ministering to children and youth both here and abroad. In ministering to children we have come to understand how important it is to partner with parents and families. To offer parents a resource in parenting we became trained facilitators of Growing Kids God Way. We have facilitated these classes for 15+ years. This has been a great resource in equipping parents and families in raising children with Godly principles.

Richmond has always been our home, and it is an excellent place to share this adventure with our five wonderful children: Caleb, Brooklyn, Evan, Ethan and Shana.

Randy & Kristen Roper

A Richmond native and graduate of Freeman High School, then VCU Engineering School in 2002, Randy Roper has had a love for music since the time his father taught him his first guitar chord at age nine. Randy and his wife Kristen joined the FLC worship team in 2003 and have been passionately serving since. They love serving together in worship ministry and are extremely humbled and blessed to be part of an incredible worship team. The goal is simple…to corporately worship The God of all creation and to experience, with others, His life changing power.

Randy and Kristen are blessed with three children, Kayla, Devin and Tucker.

David & Elizabeth Testroet

Elizabeth and I have been part of FLC for almost 20 years and have served in many capacities including preparing the bulletin and calendar, planning special events, greeting and ushering, serving as deacons and treasurer for the church. We have also seen our children grow up to be mighty women and man of God through the sound, loving leadership of our kids and youth pastors. We have found great joy in serving the body of Christ and look forward to many more years with our family at FLC.
